Ananya Meenakshi Kandalam was born on Dec 21st 2006 in Waukee , Iowa. She was a bubbly little girl from the day she was born .She was bright and beautiful . Like every little girl she had hopes and dreams . One day she wanted to be a doctor . She laughed and enjoyed being center of our world .She had an amazing memory and enjoyed reading every book she could lay her hands on . She could sing and dance and enjoyed music from the time she was a baby. She was a shy little girl but when you get to know her she would give lot of love .She was daddy's little girl . She has touched so many hearts.She had so much to live for and fulfill her dreams . She just started going to Waukee Preschool for three weeks .She was so excited and loved going to school . With her favorite Dora backpack She was on top of the world .
The Accident
One fateful Friday when she was playing in the front yard with her little brother and her mom .She was supposed to go to a birthday party next day and she was going to attend a Telugu Poetry recital competition .She had dinner and like every summer evening went out to play with her little brother .Just like all her neighboring kids do every evening .She ran after a ball on to the road .So many kids were playing near by . Just when she went to pick up the ball neighbor's car backed up from their drive way and hit her .With all the kids and neighbors watching in shock her mom ran to her . But everything happened so quick there was nothing anyone could do .She left this world in her parents arms on sept 24th 2010 .

Her name means Unique , extraordinary , matchless and priceless . Her nicknames were Anu , Bangaram (Gold in Telugu) Tangam (Gold in Tamil ) . She was all of that .Very unique little girl who amazed everyone with her beauty and intelligence . she loved every simple thing on this earth . She loved giving hugs and enjoyed being pampered by us all . She was our future and hope and dreams .She had big plans and had so much life ahead . No words can describe the pain and loss of our princess. We lost the most precious gift of our life . She is survived by her parents Kalyan and Sujatha , little brother Aditya and rest of her extended Family .
